About me: Stand Up America
My father was a master Sargeant in the United States Air Force. My brother and sister serve in the U.S. Army. My daughter presently serves in the Air Force. 
As an entertainer, I travel extensively, often for weeks at a time and have spent several months in residence. My family has a reasonable expectation that I will return home safely. That is not the  case for those serving in the Military. During times of war these families may receive news that their loved ones may have either been severely injured or killed in action. These men and women literally die so we may live free.
Their families left at home struggle with housing, education and lack of emotional support.
When veterans return home and have to adjust to civilian life they need support to reclaim their lives.  

I wrote Stand Up America to remind us of what America can and should stand for.
