Fuwimu.com is a platform for songwriters to donate all or part of their original songs to charitable organizations. Our mission is to connect the creative community with nonprofits in need, fostering a culture of giving through music.
2. I am allowed to donate a song if I am signed to a label?
No. Fuwimu is only accepting songs from unsigned artists at this time.
3. How can I donate my song?
To donate your song, simply create an account on Fuwimu.com, upload your track along with any relevant information, and select the charitable organization you would like to support. Detailed instructions will be provided during the submission process.
4. Which charitable organizations can I donate to?
Fuwimu.com list of charities is from a variety of charitable organizations across different sectors, including education, healthcare, environmental conservation, and social justice. You can browse our directory of organizations on the website. You can also submit your choice of charitable organization. There will be a vetting process to make sure that the charity you submitted is in good standing with the laws of the country where the charity is located.
5. What about my publishing or mechanical rights?
Although fuwimu is not requesting or requiring any share of a song's publishing
rights or income, we require that you list your songs affiliation with any publisher, public performance rights organization (such as BMI, ASCAP or SESAC) or mechanical rights organization (such as the Harry Fox Organization).
6. Do I retain ownership of my song after donation?
Yes. You retain 100% ownership of your song. By donating, you are granting the Fuwimu the right to use your song for their promotional and fundraising efforts, as outlined in the donation agreement.
7. Can I donate part of my song?
Yes! You can choose to donate a percentage of your song's royalties from 50% to 100% to the charity. Please refer to our donation guidelines for more details on how to specify your donation terms.
8. Is there a fee to donate my song?
No. There is no fee to donate your song on Fuwimu.com. However, there is a 3% administration fee that is deducted from the total revenue generated from your song.
9. How does Fuwimu ensure my song is used appropriately?
Your song is bought by those who want to support the charity you’ve chosen. Your copyright will protect you from inappropriate use. Your song is not connected to any charity directly.
10. Can I receive recognition for my donation?
Absolutely! Donating songwriters will receive recognition through our platform, including a profile page showcasing your work and links to your music. It is also important that you promote fuwimu.com on your social media platform for even more recognition.
11. What types of songs are eligible for donation?
We welcome all original songs across various genres. However, please ensure that you own the rights to your music and that it does not infringe upon any copyrights.

Terms of Service for Fuwimu.com

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website Fuwimu.com (“Site”) and the services provided by Fuwimu (“Services”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to
these Terms, do not use the Site or the Services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using our Site, you are affirming that you are of legal age to enter into a binding agreement. If you are using the Site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of Services
Fuwimu provides a platform for songwriters to donate their songs to support various charitable organizations. Users can browse, listen to, and potentially purchase songs provided through the Site. Proceeds from song (from 100% to 50%) sales will be allocated to the selected charity according to the songwriter's instructions.
3. Registration and Account
To access certain features of our Site, you may need to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:
• Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
• Maintain the security of your password and accept all risks of unauthorized access to your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
4. User Conduct
You agree that you will not:
• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Upload or post any song with content that is abusive, obscene, hateful, or otherwise objectionable.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any song or person or entity.
• Attempt to hack, use bots, or engage in any activities that may damage or disrupt the Site.
5. Donations and Fund Distribution
• Donations: Songwriters may choose to donate their songs for free or specify between 90% and 50%, majority share going to the charity. All proceeds from purchases will be directed to the chosen charity.
• Fund distribution: Fuwimu will facilitate the transfer of funds to the designated charity and the song owner(s) on a quarterly basis (four payments per year [every three months]) of any accumulated sales of songs on the Site minus 3% administration fee.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, and songs, is the property of Fuwimu or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content that doesn’t belong to you without our express written permission.
7. Third-Party Links
Our Site may contain links to third-party websites. These links are provided for your convenience and do not imply endorsement by Fuwimu of the content, services, or products offered by those websites. We are not responsible for the practices or policies of these third-party sites.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fuwimu shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, arising from your use of the Site or Services.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fuwimu, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorney fees, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or breach of these Terms.

Fuwimu reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Site after any changes signify your acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically for changes.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New York State, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
12. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
13. Refusal Rights
All songs submitted will go through a review process that is done by our Fuwimustaff before it is allowed on our platform.
We check the lyrics and content for:
• Hate speech or discriminatory language
• Explicit language or profanity
• Graphic violence or gore
• Mature themes or suggestive content
• Any other potentially harmful or objectionable material
• Samples of other artist’s music
If any of these topics are found your song will be rejected.
